Who can use Jenius Paylater?

For now, Jenius Paylater is only available for selected active Jenius users who meet the following criteria:

  • Have an active Jenius account.
  • Indonesian citizen (WNI).
  • Aged between 21 – 60 years old when applying for the offer.
  • Domiciled in area covered by Jenius.
  • Having a profession that is not included in the List of Sensitive Professions.
  • Not included in the Bank Internal Blacklist.
Where can I view the Jenius Paylater offer?
  • Updates For You section in the Home page.
  • Credit menu in the Wealth page.
I have met the criteria to get Jenius Paylater offer, but the offer is not yet available in my Jenius app, what should I do to get the offer?

Make sure to increase your transactions with Jenius and maintain your credit quality to get an offer for Jenius Paylater.

How can I activate Jenius Paylater?
  • On the Updates For You section in the Home page, tap the Jenius Paylater banner.
  • Read the first time tutorial, then choose Activate Paylater.
  • Complete your personal details and close relative details.
  • Put a check mark to confirm your data, then choose Submit.
  • Read the terms and conditions, put a check mark as an agreement, and choose Submit.
  • Input your Jenius password, then choose Submit.
  • Your data is successfully submitted, wait for confirmation from Jenius.

You can also activate Jenius Paylater from the Wealth page under the Credit menu.

  • Go to Wealth, then choose the Credit menu.
  • Scroll down to the Paylater section, then choose Activate Now.
  • Complete your personal details and close relative details.
  • Put a check mark to confirm your data, then choose Submit.
  • Read the terms and conditions, put a check mark as an agreement, and choose Submit.
  • Input your Jenius password, then choose Submit.
  • Your data is successfully submitted, wait for confirmation from Jenius.
How long does it take to get my Jenius Paylater activation confirmed?

The activation process could take up to 5 minutes. You will get a notification when the process is done.

After the activation process is done, can I use Jenius Paylater right away?

Yes, you can use Jenius Paylater right away after the activation process is done.

Is there a validity period for Jenius Paylater?

Yes. The validity period of Jenius Paylater is 12 months since you activate your Jenius Paylater. After you reach the end of the validity period, you will not be able to Jenius Paylater as a source of funds for transactions.

Can My Jenius Paylater Validity Period be renewed?

Yes. Jenius Paylater validity period can be renewed for the next 12 months if you meet the internal bank criteria. Make sure to maintain the quality of your credit repayments to keep using Jenius Paylater.

What is Jenius Paylater limit?

A monthly amount facility given to you and can be used to pay for transactions.

How much is the Jenius Paylater limit that I receive?

After Jenius Paylater is activated, you will receive IDR500,000 of limit.

Can I get a higher Jenius Paylater limit than what I currently have?

Yes. Jenius will periodically increase the Jenius Paylater limit for users who meet the internal bank criteria.

What are the criteria to get additional limit?
  • Actively use Jenius Paylater for transactions.
  • Repay monthly Jenius Paylater bill on time.
  • Maintain your credit quality in other banks or financial services.
Can I use Jenius Paylater when the limit is maxed out?

No, you can only use Jenius Paylater for transactions if the limit is sufficient.

If my Jenius Paylater limit is insufficient for transactions, can I combine my remaining limit with my Active Balance?

No. You can’t combine Jenius Paylater with Active Balance or other source of funds for transactions.

How can I reset my Jenius Paylater limit to the initial amount?

Your Jenius Paylater limit will reset to the initial amount after you settle your monthly repayment bill.

Is Jenius Paylater limit combined with Flexi Cash and Jenius Credit Card limit?

No. Jenius Paylater limit is separated from Flexi Cash and Jenius Credit Card credit limit.

What Jenius feature is connected to Jenius Paylater?

For the initial phase, Jenius Paylater is connected with Jenius QR.

Where can I use Jenius Paylater?

You can use Jenius Paylater as a source of funds for Jenius QR transactions at merchants that accept online or offline payments via QRIS.

  • Scan QRIS shortcut button on the PIN page.
  • Scan QRIS menu on the Home Page.
  • Scan QRIS button through the Mobius button.

How can I use Jenius Paylater as a source of funds for Jenius QR transactions?
  • Make sure your Paylater is activated and your remaining limit is sufficient.
  • Open Jenius app, then choose Scan QRIS on PIN page.
  • Log in with biometric or enter your PIN.
  • Place the camera at the QR code or upload the QR code image from your smartphone gallery.
  • Enter the amount you want to pay or check the automatically generated amount.
  • Choose Pay Later and make sure that Jenius Paylater has been selected as the payment method.
  • Make sure the information is correct, then choose Next.
    If the merchant has tip options, choose the amount of the tip you want to give before choosing Next.
  • Check the confirmation page, then choose Pay Now.
    If the payment amount exceeds the transaction authentication limit, input your Jenius password.
  • Jenius QR payment using Jenius Paylater is completed!

Aside from the PIN page, you can also tap Scan QRIS on Home page or from Mobius Button.

How do I make a QRIS TTM (Tanpa Tatap Muka) transaction with Jenius Paylater as a source of funds?
  • Make sure your Paylater is activated and your remaining limit is sufficient.
  • On the PIN page, choose Scan QRIS.
  • Enter your PIN or use biometric login.
  • Choose the picture icon, then choose the QR code from your smartphone’s gallery.
  • Enter the payment amount or check the amount that automatically appears.
  • Choose Pay Later and make sure that Jenius Paylater has been selected as the payment method.
  • Make sure all the information is correct, then choose Next.
    If merchants turn on the tip option, you can choose the tip amount before choosing Next.
  • Pay attention to the confirmation page, then choose Pay Now.
    If the amount exceeds the transaction authentication, please input your Jenius password.
  • QRIS TTM (Tanpa Tatap Muka) transaction with Jenius Paylater is successful!

Aside from the PIN page, you can also tap Scan QRIS on Home page or from Mobius button.

I used Jenius Paylater as a source of funds for Jenius QR, but the transaction is canceled by the merchant. Will I get a refund?

Yes. Refund for a canceled transaction by the merchant will be restored to your Active Balance according to your transaction amount and you are free to use it as needed.

How can I see the history of my Jenius Paylater transactions?
  • Go to Wealth, then choose the Credit menu.
  • On the Paylater section, choose Transaction History.
  • Check your Jenius Paylater transaction history that is sorted from newest to oldest, then tap a transaction to check the details.

You can also see your Jenius Paylater transaction history in the In & Out page.

Do transactions made using Jenius Paylater as a source of funds appear on the In & Out page?

Yes. There are 4 types of Jenius Paylater information in the In & Out page:

  • Transaction history with Jenius Paylater.
  • Bill repayment.
  • Service fee.
  • Late fee.
Can I see my Jenius Paylater transactions that are made in the previous month?

Yes. Jenius Paylater transaction history records your transactions in the past 6 months.

What fees do I have to pay on my Jenius Paylater bill?
  • The total amount of all Jenius QR transactions.
  • Service fee.
  • Late fee (Only applicable if you have overdue bill).
How much is the Jenius Paylater service fee?

You will be charged a service fee of IDR15,000/month.

Is there any interest on Jenius Paylater?

No, you will not be charged an interest or other fees. You will only pay the service fee.

Do I still have to pay the service fee if I don’t use Jenius Paylater?

No. Service fee is only charged when you use Jenius Paylater.

When will I receive my Jenius Paylater bill?

On the 1st of every month, you will receive a repayment bill for the transactions you made in the previous month.

When should I pay my Jenius Paylater bill?

Jenius Paylater’s monthly bill payment period is every 1st to 5th at 15.00 WIB.

If by the 5th at 15.00 WIB you have not made a payment, an autodebit (direct debit) will be made from your Active Balance. Make sure your Active Balance is sufficient on the 5th at 15.00 WIB to avoid late fee.

How do I pay my Jenius Paylater bill?
  • Go to Wealth, then choose the Credit menu.
  • On the Paylater section, choose Repay Now.
  • Make sure the billing information is correct and your Active Balance is sufficient to make the transaction, then choose Next.
  • Check the confirmation page, then choose Repay Now.
  • Input your Jenius password, then choose Submit.
  • Your Jenius Paylater repayment will be processed. Pull to refresh the page after a moment to see the latest repayment status.

Bill payments can only be made every 1st to 5th at 15.00 WIB. If payment has not been made by the 5th at 15.00 WIB, an autodebit (direct debit) will be made from your Active Balance.

Can I change my Jenius Paylater billing date?

No. The repayment period has been set by Jenius and cannot be changed.

Can I pay off my Jenius Paylater bill earlier than the repayment period?

No. Jenius Paylater repayments can only be made during the repayment period.

Is there any reminder to repay my Jenius Paylater bill?

Yes. Jenius will send you reminders via email and push notifications with the following details:

  • Reminders via e-mail will be sent 3 days before the repayment period and on the 1st of each month.
  • Reminders via push notification will be sent 1 day before the repayment period, on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th of each month.

You will not receive e-mail and push notification reminders after you made a repayment.

Can I pay my Jenius Paylater bill using auto debit?

The autodebit process will be carried out automatically from the Active Balance if you have not made a payment by the 5th at 15.00 WIB.

Why can’t I make a Paylater payment on the 5th after 15.00 WIB?

You cannot make payment at the 5th after 15.00 WIB because after the bill payment period ends, the system will process the payment automatically to the Active Balance. You just need to make sure your Active Balance is sufficient before the 5th at 15.00 WIB to avoid late fees. You can continue to make payment at the 6th after 02.00 WIB.

What happens if I make a late Jenius Paylater repayment?
  • Late fees of Rp1.000/day will start being charged on the 6th of the next month.
  • You will no longer be able to make QR transactions using Jenius Paylater as a source of funds until your overdue bill is paid.
  • If you have Flexi Cash and/or Jenius Credit Card, you will also not be able to disburse or to make transactions with it until your overdue bill is paid.
How much is the Jenius Paylater late fee?

Late fee is IDR1,000/day. The maximum amount of the late fee is IDR30,000.

If I missed a repayment due date, will I still receive repayment reminders?

Yes. Jenius will send you reminders via email and push notification with the following details:

  • Reminder via e-mail will be sent on the 6th of each month.
  • Reminders via push notification will be sent on the 6th, 7th, and 8th of each month.

You will not receive e-mail and push notification reminders after you made a repayment.

You can also see the repayment reminder and the information about your repayment bill along with late fees on the Credit menu in your Jenius app.

What will happen if I missed my Jenius Paylater payment for 60 days onwards?

Your Flexi Cash facility will be permanently blocked. In this condition, you can still make repayments, but your Jenius Paylater facility will no longer be able to be used for transaction.

What is Jenius Paylater advice?

Jenius Paylater advice is a credit agreement document issued by the Bank, which contains information regarding limits and all applicable credit agreement provisions.

How can I download my Jenius Paylater advice?
  • Go to Wealth, then choose the Credit menu.
  • On the Paylater section, choose Download Advice.
  • For iOS users, you can save your advice file to your device by tapping the Share button at the bottom left corner of your screen. For Android users, make sure you have a PDF reader application to save or share your advice file.
