How do I deposit/top-up my Jenius account balance?
Transfer to the account number

You can deposit/top up your balance by transferring money to your Jenius account number via ATM Prima/Bersama or from the internet banking and other mobile banking apps by doing the following steps:

  1. Select Transfer between banks
  2. At the Recipient Bank, select BTPN or enter the BTPN bank code (213)
  3. Continue by entering your Jenius account number
  4. Enter the amount to be transferred
  5. Make sure the destination account information is correct, then select Correct

  • You can visit the Jenius booth and top up your balance using an EDC machine available at every Jenius booth.
  • You can also make cash deposits through the TCR machine available at the Jenius Live Kota Kasablanka or at the nearest Bank BTPN office branch.
How do I get the Flexi Cash?

Only selected Jenius customers can apply for the Flexi Cash standby-fund feature through the Jenius app.

How long does the approval process for a Flexi Cash application take?

The approval process for Flexi Cash application is no more than 5 working days.

Why is my application for the Flexi Cash loan not approved?

The Flexi Cash approval is a decision made by the bank and this policy cannot be contested.

Can I change the loan payment date?

No, the loan payment date or the load period cannot be changed when the loan is already running.

How much interest will be charged on the Flexi Cash loan?

The interest rate starts from 1.75% – 2.75%. Each person will be charged a different interest rate for a loan on the Flexi Cash menu depending on the risk profile of each customer.

How do I make an installment payment?

You can make an installment payment by ensuring that the amount of funds in your Active Balance is sufficient before 19.00 WIB on the cycle date.

Can I make a loan payment earlier than the payment date?

Yes, here’s how:

  1. Choose Flexi Cash.
  2. Choose Loans.
  3. Select the loan which you want to pay before the due date.
  4. Choose Pay in Advance.
  5. Input the amount you wish to pay.
  6. Tap Next, make sure the amount you want to pay is correct, then select Pay Installment.
How many times can I make an early payment?

You have 2 opportunities of making an early payment for every withdrawal of a new loan, but you can only make 1 early payment per month.

What is the minimum payment of an early payment?

The minimum payment amount of early payment is 1 installment.

What penalty will I incur if I have an installment past the due date?

The penalty will incur one day after due date with details as follow:
First month (one day after due date): IDR50,000
Second month (30 days after due date): IDR75,000
Third month (60 days after due date): IDR150,000
Fourth month (90 days after due date): IDR 175,000

Note:

  • Late fees 30 days and thereafter, will be accumulated with the costs of delays that have been previously charged.
  • Penalty applies to any late payment of the loan (example: you passed the payment on the due date of the first loan for the first installment which will be subject to a penalty fee of IDR 50,000, then you also missed the payment of the second loan for the first installment which will be charged a penalty of IDR 50,000 also.
  • The penalty fee will be automatically withdrawn when there is balance in your Active Balance.
  • There is no additional interest for late payment.
  • To settle your penalties and overdue installments that overdue more than 6 months or 180 days, please contact Jenius at 021-25567000 ext. 11360 or 12427.
How do I update my KTP on Jenius app?
  1. Open Jenius app
  2. Input PIN device
  3. Tap Menu, choose View Profile
  4. Tap Edit
  5. Tap KTP Details
  6. Tap Update your KTP
  7. Input your reason for updating KTP details

How do I send money with SKN (Sistem Kliring Nasional) and RTGS (Real Time Gross Settlement)?

You can send money using the SKN if the minimum amount of money transferred is IDR 50.000.001 and a maximum of IDR 200.000.000 and the RTGS if the minimum amount of money transferred is IDR 100.000.001 and a maximum of IDR 200.000.000.

  1. Go to Send It feature
  2. Choose Add Recipient
  3. Choose Bank Destination and input account number destination
  4. Choose Check to check recipient’s bank account data
  5. If it is appropriate, tap Next
  6. Enter the nominal money to be sent. If the nominal is more than IDR 50.000.000, Send It will automatically display a choice of methods that you can use (SKN or RTGS)
  7. Specify the method you want to use, then choose Next
  8. Check again the money transfer details before choosing Send Money
  9. Input password
How much is the online transfer transaction fee (via app)/SKN/RTGS?
  1. Via app: IDR 5.000 (if you do not have a quota free of transaction fees)
  2. SKN: IDR 2.000 (from April 1, 2020 s.d. 31 December 2021)
  3. RTGS: IDR 25.000
When can I use the SKN/RTGS service?

These services can only be used on weekdays (Monday – Friday) from 08.00 – 14.00 WIB.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, operating hours have been adjusted to 08.00 – 13.00 WIB.

How long does it take to send Jenius Debit Cards?

The estimated delivery of Jenius Debit Cards is 3 working days for Jabodetabek and 7 working days for outside Jabodetabek starting from registration or making a new card request*.

*Card delivery may experience delays in the handling of the COVID-19 pandemic

Will I get an interest when I deposit my money on m-Card?

Yes, money saved on m-Card will receive interest of 0.5% per year, but 0% for e-Cards and x-Cards.

How do I change my Jenius Debit Card PIN?
  1. Go to the Card Center feature
  2. Choose the debit card whose PIN code you want to change
  3. Choose Other
  4. Choose Change PIN
  5. Enter the new PIN and confirm the PIN
  6. Tap Save
  7. Enter the password
What should I do if I lose my Jenius Debit Card?

If your Jenius Debit Card is lost, you can temporarily block it until your Jenius Debit Card is found, or make a permanent block and at the same time deactivate the debit card if it’s really lost. By selecting permanent block, the debit card replacement process will be automatically carried out and a new Jenius Debit Card will be sent to the correspondent address that you registered on the Jenius app.

Is there any card replacement fees?

Yes. The fee for permanent blocking and replacing Jenius Debit Cards is IDR50,000 for m-Card, e-Card, x-Card, and GPN x-Card. Meanwhile, the virtual m-Card for business accounts is subject to a fee of IDR50,000. This fee will be taken from your Active Balance.

How do I permanently block my Jenius Debit Card?
  1. Go to the Card Center feature
  2. Choose the debit card that you want to block
  3. Choose Block Card
  4. Choose Block Permanently
  5. Choose the card and reason for blocking
  6. Choose Block Permanently
  7. Check the correspondent address, if it is appropriate select Block Card
When I make a transaction with a Jenius Debit Card, why is the exchange rate I received not in accordance with the foreign currency exchange rate prevailing at that time?

This is because Jenius applies a 3% principal fee for every foreign currency transaction using Visa. This is to anticipate the fluctuating foreign currency conversion rates.

For example: you make a transaction on Amazon using an e-Card worth $10 with $1 equivalent to IDR14,000. The total exchange rate should be IDR140,000, but Jenius applies a 3% principal fee, bringing the total exchange rate to IDR140,420.

How do I know the foreign currency exchange rates charged when I use a Jenius Debit Card?

For transactions using Visa, Jenius follows the foreign currency exchange rates applied by Visa. You can check the exchange rate of foreign currency through the Visa website at www.visa.co.id.

Does this also apply if I make transactions using the Foreign Currency Balance feature at Jenius?

No, this fee does not apply if you use the Foreign Currency Balance feature at Jenius.

How much is the transaction fee for using Jenius Debit Card abroad?

All transactions abroad using Jenius Debit Card use Visa network, therefore, you will be charged with fee based on Visa rate. For cash withdrawal transaction at ATM machine, you will be charged IDR25,000 per transaction. For checking account balance at ATM machine, you will be charged IDR5.000 per transaction.

How do I make online payments with Jenius Debit Cards at online merchants?
  1. On the payment page, select Credit/Debit Card
  2. Enter your Jenius Debit Card number
  3. Enter the CVV/CVC code and the validity period
  4. Continue payment by entering the OTP code* which will be sent via SMS to your mobile number registered at Jenius
  5. A successful payment will immediately deduct the balance on your Jenius Debit Card

*OTP code delivery depends on merchant policy in using 3DSecure

What should I do if my transaction with Jenius Debit Card fails?

If the transaction fails, you are expected to wait for 1 x 24 hours. If the balance has not returned, please contact Jenius Help or come to the nearest Jenius booth by preparing the following details:

  3. nominal transaction
  4. proof of In & Out transactions
How do I object or cancel e-Commerce transactions?

What is meant by the free transaction fee quota for new customers?

Customers who have just registered to Jenius will get 5x free transfer fees and 2x free cash withdrawals at Prima/Bersama ATMs which can be used until the end of the month after registering.

For example,
– If you registered on January 1, the free transaction fee can be used until January 31
– If you registered on January 25th, the free transaction fee can be used until January 31

What is meant by the free transaction fee quota for existing customers?

– If the average balance in the previous month is below IDR1,000,000, the customer will get a quota of 5x free transfer fees and 2x free cash withdrawals at Prima / Bersama ATMs
– If the average balance in the previous month is between IDR1,000,000 – IDR 9.999.999, the customer will get a quota of 15x free transfer fees and 5x free cash withdrawals at Prima / Bersama ATMs
– If the average balance in the previous month is equal to or above IDR10,000,000, the customer will get a quota of 25x free transfer fees and 25x free cash withdrawals at Prima / Bersama ATMs

When will this quota be renewed?

The quota will be updated at the beginning of each month (every 1st).

How much is the transaction fee if the transaction quota runs out?

The transfer fee between banks via the application is IDR2,500 via BI-FAST and the fee for interbank transfers via an ATM machine is IDR6,500. Meanwhile, the cash withdrawal fee at ATM Prima/Bersama is IDR7,500 per transaction.

What should I do if the free transaction fee quota is not updated while the daily average balance in the previous month is more than IDR1,000,000?

For this, you can report via Jenius Help at 1500 365 or come to the nearest Jenius booth by bringing required data such as: the account number, the name according to your ID card and the proof of quota that is not being updated.
