What is flexible interest?

Flexi Saver’s flexible interest is a progressive interest calculation method, which is calculated daily and paid monthly based on the savings balance tier in each Flexi Saver account. With the progressive calculation method, you can earn higher interest if you have a larger Flexi Saver balance.

How is Flexi Saver’s flexible interest calculated?

Flexi Saver now uses flexible interest with progressive calculation method according to your savings balance tier.

Here are the details of the Flexi Saver savings balance tier and the difference between the previously applicable balance and flexible interest:

How is the progressive interest calculated?

If you have a savings balance of IDR150,000,000 in one of your Flexi Saver, the balance will be divided into 4 tiers with different interest rates.

*The interest rates in the table above are gross rates and will be subject to tax deductions in accordance with current bank regulations.

If I have more than one Flexi Saver, is the Flexi Saver interest calculated based on my total saving amount or per account?

Interest will apply per your Flexi Saver account. So, each of your Flexi Saver accounts can have different interest rates depending on the balance in each account.

Does the progressive interest calculation also apply to other savings product in Jenius?

No. The progressive interest calculation will only apply to Flexi Saver and won’t apply to Dream Saver, Maxi Saver, or Active Balance.

When will I receive my Flexi Saver interest?

Flexi Saver interest will be calculated daily and paid at the 27th of every month.

How can I see the interest I’ve received from my saving in Flexi Saver?

1. On the bottom navigation of your Jenius app, choose Wealth.
2. Scroll down to Save It section, then choose Flexi Saver.
3. Select the Flexi Saver whose interest you want to see.
4. Choose the Transaction menu.
5. Find the transaction named Interest. Tap the transaction to see the details.

You can also see your Flexi Saver transaction history on your e-Statement by following these steps:
1. On the bottom navigation of your Jenius app, choose Wealth.
2. Tap the e-Statement icon on the top right corner.
3. Choose the month and the year of the e-Statement that you want to see.
4. Scroll down to the Flexi Saver section Find the transaction named Interest.

When does the progressive interest calculation start to apply?

The progressive interest calculation for Flexi Saver will apply starting June 28, 2024, replacing the previously applicable interest rate of 2.5% p.a.
