How long is the delivery of Jenius Debit Cards?

The Jenius Debit Card will be sent as soon as possible to your correspondence address*. If more than 3 business days (for Jabodetabek) or more than 7 business days (for outside Jabodetabek) since your Jenius account is active, you still haven’t received your Jenius Debit Card, please contact Jenius Help at 1500 365 to find out the status of your debit card delivery.

Will the money I deposit in Jenius Debit Cards receive interest?

Yes, the money you deposit in m-Card will receive 0.5% interest rate p.a, however, there’s no interest in e-Card and x-Card.

Will I receive the information on the temporary Jenius Debit Cards PIN through mail/post/courier?

No. PIN won’t be sent to you via mail/post/courier. You can create your own ATM PIN for your Jenius Debit Cards right from Jenius app once you’ve received the physical cards.

Can I use the same PIN for my Jenius Debit Cards and accessing Jenius app?

We suggest to make different PIN for your ATM PIN and your mobile PIN. The first one is used to access your card at any ATM, the second one is used to access your Jenius app on your mobile phone. This is to make sure you have double security to your savings.

Can I change the name written on my Jenius m-Card?

No. You can’t change the name that is already printed on your Jenius m-Card.

Could you inform me on the list of e-Commerce that is willing to accept payments with Jenius Debit Cards Visa?

e-Card can be used in every e-commerce sites that accepts Visa as a payment method, including service providers such us Uber, Spotify, Netflix, iTunes, etc.

Where can I see the history of all transactions I made with Jenius e-Card?

To see the transactions you’ve made with e-Card, you can access Card Center, choose e-Card, and open the Transactions menu.

Can I change my x-Card name?

Yes, you can. Your x-Card name can be changed through Card Center and can be adjusted based on the specific needs for the x-Card itself. Remember, the name won’t be printed on the physical x-Card but will only be shown inside the Jenius app.

Can I make 3 (three) x-Cards at the same time?

Yes, you can. However, it is most likely for the cards to arrive in a different time since they are not delivered in one package.

Can I replace any of the 3 x-Cards I’ve owned?

Yes, you can request a new x-Card if you decide to terminate one of the previously unused x-Cards.

Is there any fees for making an x-Card?

Yes, there is. The fee for requesting an x-Card is IDR 50,000 and will be withdrawn directly from your Active Balance.

How do I create a GPN (National Payment Gateway) debit card in Jenius?

1. Choose Card Center menu.
2. Choose Create x-Card.
3. Choose the blue GPN x-Card and submit a name you preferred for your card.
4. Choose Create A New Card.

What is the difference between Jenius x-Card GPN and Jenius x-Card Visa?

The GPN Jenius x-Card is used to carry out any non-cash transactions domestically. The GPN (National Payment Gate) will also reduce transaction costs imposed on customers when using EDC machines from different banks.

Jenius x-Card with the Visa logo uses international non-cash transaction processing services that you can use to conduct banking transactions in almost all countries in the world.

Can I choose a GPN debit card other than the blue one?

No, you can only choose the blue x-Card as your Jenius Debit Card with the GPN logo.

Is there a difference in administration fees or card blocking fees on a GPN debit card?

No, the cost of blocking cards on Jenius Debit Cards with the GPN logo is no different from Jenius Debit Card with a VISA logo.

Is there any fees for making an GPN x-Card?

Yes. The fee for requesting a GPN x-Card is IDR 50,000 which will be withdrawn directly from your Active Balance.

What should I do if I lost my Jenius Debit Cards (m-Card and x-Cards)?

You can temporarily block until your Jenius Debit Card is found or can permanently block your Jenius Debit Card if it is completely lost. A new debit card will automatically be delivered to your correspondence address that has been registered to your Jenius account.

Are there any fees for permanently blocking a Jenius Debit Cards?

Yes, there are. The permanent block fee each for an m-Card, x-Cards and GPN x-Card is IDR 50,000. While e-Card is being charged with Rp 10,000. These fees will be taken from the Active Balance.

Can I integrate my Jenius Debit Card for third-party services like online transport, PayPal, or AppStore?

Yes, you can register the card number, CVV code and the expiry date of your Jenius Debit Card, especially e-Card, to any third-party services you use. To view the e-Card information, follow these steps:
1. Open the Jenius app.
2. Select Card Center menu.
3. Select e-Card.
4. Select view CVV code.
5. Enter the Jenius password.
6. Select Submit.
7. Touch to copy the card number.
8. Write down the CVV code and expiry date card.

How much is the transaction fee for using Jenius Debit Card abroad?

All transactions abroad using Jenius Debit Card use Visa network, therefore, you will be charged with fee based on Visa rate. For cash withdrawal transaction at ATM machine, you will be charged IDR25,000 per transaction. For checking account balance at ATM machine, you will be charged IDR5.000 per transaction.

What should I do if I forgot my Jenius Debit Card PIN?

Jenius Debit Card PIN can be changed directly from Card Center feature inside your Jenius app.

What is the minimum initial deposit that I must top up to a Jenius Debit Card?

There is no initial deposit that you must top up to your Jenius Debit Card.

What is meant by an insufficient fund fee?

An insufficient fund fee is fines that are charged when the balance on your Jenius Visa Debit Card is not sufficient to pay for the transactions you have made. This fee only applies to transactions using Jenius Visa Debit Cards, namely m-Card, e-Card, and Visa x-Card. This transaction includes a one-time or recurring (subscription) transactions.

Why am I being fined with insufficient fund fees?

You are subject to an insufficient fund fee of a maximum of IDR5,000 per transaction because the balance in your Jenius Visa Debit Card (m-Card, e-Card, x-Card) is not sufficient to pay for the transactions you have made.

For example, you make a purchase at a merchant for IDR50,000 using an x-Card. However, the balance in your x-Card only contains IDR10,000. When you make a payment and a failure occurs, that’s when the insufficient fund fee is charged.

Where will the insufficient fund fees be drawn from?

The insufficient fund fees will be withdrawn from the Jenius Visa Debit Card that you use to make transactions.

For example, if you use an e-Card to pay for a Spotify subscription, the insufficient fund fee will be withdrawn from the e-Card.

How much is the insufficient fund fee amount?

The fee for insufficient funds is a maximum of IDR5,000 per transaction. The transaction in question is an attempt to collect payments made by the merchants.

Please note that each merchant has a different payment billing trial. It is possible for a merchant to try to collect payment more than once a day after the transaction has failed.

As a result, you can be fined for insufficient funds of more than IDR5,000. Please make sure you always have sufficient balance when paying using a Jenius Visa Debit Card.

Will I receive a notification before or after the fee is withdrawn?

You will receive a notification when the insufficient fund fee has been successfully withdrawn from your Jenius Visa Debit Card.

What should I do to avoid the insufficient fund fees?

Before making a transaction, make sure the balance on your Jenius Visa debit card is sufficient to pay for the transaction you are about to make. Please check your Jenius Visa debit card balance through the Card Center.

Please remember, if you permanently block your Jenius Visa Debit Card, make sure you also delete (unlink) the debit card data registered at the merchant.

Because even though you have permanently blocked your Jenius Visa Debit Card, you have not deleted (unlinked) the card data from the merchant, you will still be subject to a penalty for lack of funds.

Are the insufficient fund fees recorded in In & Out?

Yes, the insufficient fund fees that have been paid will be recorded in In & Out.
